South of the historic At-Turaif district, where the scent of the earth meets the memory of the Wadi, lies the Al-Tawalie area, a natural oasis embracing historic farms along the banks of Wadi Hanifah. This fertile land was once the source of the mud used to build At-Turaif, and for generations it flourished with rich agricultural diversity, cultivating dates, figs, peaches, apricots, pomegranates, grapes and more. Today, it hosts Souq Al-Mawsim one of the oldest markets in the Arabian Peninsula, becoming a center for trade and cultural exchange.
